Young was inspired to start the foundation because of his own experience overcoming life’s challenges as a child. He and his mother, Felicia Young, established the 501c(3) in 2006 in efforts to give back to community tha has made him who he is today. Through a myriad of events and activities, hands-on educational programs, and personal visits and participation from Young himself, the foundation is dedicated to providing the support students need to be successful and productive leaders.
